Software scaling, panning UIWebView for iPhone 2.2.1

Hello!

I am trying to control a UIWebView from generated events.

Is there a piece of documentary iphone SDK to programmatically create a UIEvent (or action or whatever) that I can pass to the UIWebView and interpret it as a custom gesture?

I would agree if someone could show me or link to a simple pinch event creation!

Or, if someone knows WHY this is not possible or has only been done in some way that violates a license that will also be useful ...

Thanks guys,

Although there is no documented method to create UIEvent

, you can intercept and resubmit by UIEvent

executing -sendEvent:

in a custom subclass UIApplication

.

Using private methods you can call [[UIEvent alloc] _initWithTouches:(NSMutableSet *)touches keyedTouches:NULL]

to get a newUIEvent

If you want to set the zoom level to UIWebView

, the documented way can be done with javascript.

Have a look bromine on google code. It generates touch events as part of the testing process.
