Sifr 3 - at the end of my mind trying to get text blocks not to wrap

Looking forward to any help / comments on any aspect of this issue, but the main question is about wrapping sIFR text and how to disable it. It was supposed to be a simple html-izing assignment (ha ha ha)

Check out here

So, I put navigation and content clip-boxes in tables that I know you purists might neglect, but that seemed like the easiest / most consistent way ... excuse me.

The problem is sIFR - I can't get one of the navs ("Exchange Technologies") to behave; he holds the package. Meanwhile, sIFR headers in small content containers have become unmanageable and are trying to escape.

I was hammering the CSS trying to fix it in different elements - I would be so eternally grateful if a sIFR expert would check it out and see if there are any suggestions for making sIFR chapters.

Please note that I don't need to fill the bottom of the sIFR elements because the headers show up in all caches.

If it helps, I can post an image of what the designer was looking for.

The parameter forceSingleLine

for sIFR.replace()

is the easiest way to resolve this. Typically, the problem occurs when Flash text is wider than HTML text and the replaced elements are exactly the width of the HTML text. In this case, the sIFR text will not fit into the valid unpacked space.

Another solution is to use rules letter-spacing

via .sIFR-active .myNavItemToBeReplaced

CSS to make the HTML text wider so that the Flash text doesn't match without wrapping.
