How do I overlay an NSImageView overlay and keep it at the top of the WebView?
How do I place an overlay view (NSImageView) and keep it at the top in front of the WebView (which starts the main animation or)?
The standard ordering in the interface builder does not help .. the imageview is displayed before the webview, but when I load the webview content with a tag or just the html opacity animation, suddently the webview grabs the top position and shows over the ImageView.
Can't I do this?

although two years have passed, maybe this is being solved by itself or no longer exists as a problem, I think the answer to this question should be useful for future viewers here :)
after searching for this question (even without answers below) http://www.cocoabuilder.com/archive/cocoa/223499-core-animation-how-to-swicth-off-all-implicit-animations.html I found this single line
[imageView setWantsLayer:YES];
will do the job. because "WebView appears to be using Layer-enabled Core Animation views"
