Maven hibernate jar not found (3.5.1-Final)

I'm trying to update the hibernate dependecy in my pom, I had version 3.3.2.GA and changed to 3.5.1-Final . But maven cannot find jars in the repo, so checking the url.

http://repository.jboss.org/maven2/

For more information, see the hibernate section.

I see that there is no jar, only pom's. But if I check the entity manager section

There are jars and other files (actually maven extracted files).

I know I can add this to my repository, on this command line

 mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=org.hibernate -DartifactId=hibernate -Dversion=3.5.1-Final -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=/path/to/file

But I don't know if other dependencies are needed.

I have to say that I added the repository to my pom, like so.

   <repository>
        <id>JBOSS</id>
        <name>JBoss Repository</name>
        <url>http://repository.jboss.org/maven2/</url>
    </repository>

Tank.

Use hibernate-core

as artifactId

per your dependency (from JBoss repository indeed):

<dependencies>
  <dependency>
    <groupId>org.hibernate</groupId>
    <artifactId>hibernate-core</artifactId>
    <version>3.5.1-Final</version>
  </dependency>
  ...
</dependencies>

<repositories>
  <repository>
    <id>jboss</id>
    <name>JBoss repository</name>
    <url>http://repository.jboss.org/maven2</url>
  </repository>
</repositories>

JBoss has started syncing its own repo with central Maven as hosted on the JBoss community blog , so artifacts are hibernate

now available without having to add the JBoss repository to your manager pom.xml

or repository.
