Updating UIWebView from screen?

I am trying to get UIImage UIWebView, I can do it perfectly using renderInContext :. However, before I generated the image, I would like to update the UIWebView with some HTML code, the trick is the hidden UIWebView interface. Right now, I can't get an updated version of the web view to render in UIImage, just the old one.

Are you expecting to re-render the UIWebView before re-requesting it? Loading HTML into UIWebView does not immediately refresh the view. You have to wait webViewDidFinishLoad:

. This is true even if the HTML is a simple string with no external links.
