Creating (programming) virtual disks on Windows XP
Aha,
I would like to set the "virtual disk" myself in Windows XP, I think using the windows API.
What I was thinking would be similar to the server interface, ie explorer.exe will send "requests" like a list directory, or receive a file via a pipe or whatever ...
I know some programs do it, maybe not the way I think it is done, but what the heck,
If you know anything, please enlighten me!

You can add custom nodes to Explorer by writing a wrapper namespace extension .
Note that it will only appear in the explorer; it will not be used from other applications or file APIs like regular disk.
