How do I view the diff file in TortoiseSVN?

I am currently using TortoiseSVN as my original control on Windows. How do I see the difference between the same file as I quickly go through different versions? Or is there a better tool?

To view the changes to a file, right-click the file and select

TortoiseSVN -> Show Log



Then from there you can select multiple items and choose Compare Versions

I think you might like this open source tool called svn-time-lapse-view .

This is a Java executable jar that allows you to download all versions for a file and then use the slider to scroll / cycle through all version changes using the diff option shown below the slider.



Much faster than opening a log and selecting two files over and over.

I think you might want to look at the Wine tool. It will annotate each source line with the revision it was last in.

Right click on file> TurtoiseSVN> Diff or Diff with previous version. You can also use Show Log, then right click on the file and use any of the Compare options. I personally use WinMerge for merging and displaying differences.
