What's the correct combination in ant?

It doesn't look like when you combine the Fileset attribute like below: for example:

<fileset dir="src">
    <include name="gov/nasa/arc/mas/selenium/tests/*.java" />
    <excludesfile name="${test.suite}.exclude" />
</fileset>

that it has the expected behavior, which includes all * .java under src, but excludes the entire file specified in excludefile.

Can include and excludesfile be combined or do you need a custom includefile?

It is a shame that these things are not documented and it is difficult to find an explanation on google.

In fact, I think the Ant Manual is pretty clear about these types of things .

What is not clear to me is what you want to do. Do you want to use external files for your "includes" and "exclusions"? Or are you trying to override another one?

Documented and should work: http://ant.apache.org/manual/Types/fileset.html

Note that in the exception file, "each line in this file is considered an exception pattern." What does your excludesfile look like?
