JBoss5 setup with MyEclipse
I am using Weblogic as my company used it. Now I want to try JBoss as an alternative. I am using Eclipse with the MyEclipse 7.1 plugin. I have downloaded and unpacked JBoss 5.0.1GA with Java JDK 1.5.0.14. I installed the server using the MyEclipse interface and got the following error (couldn't find a solution elsewhere on the internet):

Any ideas what is wrong here?

My first guess is that the server is trying to use the port that alredy is using.
Do you have other web servers installed? I know that some have services that start automatically.
To test this on a Windows box, I usually reboot and the very first program I run is the web server, so it blocks any ports it needs.
