Change website language in Sharepoint 2007?
I am working on my development machine with Sharepoint installed in English. So the website I created and bitten appears in English, I also created variations in different languages (Spanish, Catalan, Basque, Galician). Now I understand that the part of the admin which is in English must be in Spanish.
I don't know how I can change the language, I saw the following answer in the forum :
UPDATE dbo.Webs SET Language = 3082
This solves the problem for the language, the admin part of the website is displayed in Spanish, but when I enter the variant labels section it produces an error.
Can anyone tell me the solution or what other column I should change the table in (I know this is not recommended)?
What is the table that stores the change information?

You have to be very careful when modifying the database ... not only is it not recommended, but it will make your SharePoint environment unsuitable for Microsoft. Good for a laugh, not much.
Just to give you an official answer, you cannot do what you are trying without recreating the website. To specify Deploy language packs (Office SharePoint Server) :
... after you select a site template language for a site or collection site, a site or site in a collection will always display content in the language of the original site template.
