Winform memory width
I have the following problem. I have deployed a smart client application to multiple users. Memory usage is sufficient for all but one of them. For this particular user, the memory usage is 2-2-2 times more than for any other user. The desktop specifications are the same as for other users. The computer was recently defragmented. I was wondering if anyone would know why this would happen. Any thoughts are appreciated!

I don't have an answer, but a few ideas on how you can attack the problem.
- How is this user different? 64bit os, Windows version, the data they access
- You have registration and profiling in place. Observe / record their usage so you can "reproduce" it.
- Whether they use the app for long periods of time (especially longer than other users), you might have objects getting garbage collected.

You can use . NET profiler to fix this issue. This will give you a very good snapshot of your .NET application's memory usage.
