Align Microsoft Access Requests

Every time I have to copy a request from MSAccess from the [record source] property of the control and paste into notepad to align it so I can read it.

I once used Ctrl + R to replace commas with newlines, but now I forgot what a newline is. Have you used this before, if so how can I get the newline character?

Better yet, is there a tool to auto-align SQL from MSAccess or any of the Microsoft database tools.

Greetings.

This online service "pretty" formats SQL for you Pretty SQL formatter or you can try using Notepad ++ to replace Notepad; this includes a facility to find and replace "extended" characters and replace them with new lines.

My AccdbMerge has a SQL Indent Text function that does this trick for the most common query types. Even though it is a compare & compare tool, this feature will work even if you only open one file and is available in the free version.
