Sql server 2005 question
First of all, you need to learn how to write the best storylines. I noticed that this is a habit with you. This is why I subvert.
SQL Server 2005 Express will work for you. SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition would be good for your developers to use, but cannot be used in production.
Why not use SQL Server 2008? Why start in the past?

Express Edition
Without knowing the size of your data, Express Edition might not be what you want, as it has the following limitations:
- Database size 4Gb
- 1 CPU
- 1 GB of RAM.
Developer Edition
Since you will have 30 users connecting to this instance, the Developer Edition will violate the Microsoft EULA and you will most likely need to purchase SQL Server 2005 Standard or Enterprise Edition.
However, you could use the Developer edition on your workstation to develop and develop a database that will then be deployed to a standard or enterprise edition server.
Hope it helps.
