A development platform for j2EE / Flex for Linux?

At work, we run Vista for the entire laptop. I don't really like it. XP is not an option due to license (and money) issues. The boss and the team are fine as the job is done.

So, I want to switch my development form to linux (I don't care which one).

Problem: We are building something in Adobe Flex. And I've read a lot of bad stuff for the flex / linux couple.

My question is, can I develop a Flex / J2EE application on Linux without huge limitation using eclipse and the flexbuilder plugin. (Or at least the eclipse + flexSDK compiler)

thanks for your advice.

Try the AXDT plugin for a free FlexBuilder alternative.

I am developing on Linux, but I have a virtual box instance that I need in order to use something to work. Works well :-)
