How do I limit the visibility of a custom list action for a new group?

I created a custom action for items in a list (custom print item). I have defined a new SharePoint group called Print Users. I want to limit the availability of a custom print action to members of the Print Users group only.

I was unable to find an attribute in the feature.xml or element.xml files (where the custom print action is defined) that would allow me to filter visibility for the group. Isn't this the place? Is it possible to do this, or do I need to write code in Print.aspx (custom action target) to check group membership and then display the message "Sorry, you have no rights" instead of the actual print page

I'm afraid you can use SPBasePermission to restrict the display of a custom action. This cannot be done with a custom group created. See this link for how to create a custom action. Example
