Silverlight 4 with WCF RIA and DDD

In my ASP.NET MVC apps, I use DDD and it works really well. I am new to Silverlight development and would like to know how to apply DDD to create a new architecture. I looked at WCF RIA services and what's the default is simple CRUD methods. I would like to use the MVVM pattern.

I was thinking about general architecture and don't know what I think about making sense in Silverlight development.

I was thinking about creating a domain model at the top of the SVC. I would not provide WCF RIA with some operation that deals with aggreates in my domain model instead of a simple CRUD. What I would like to expose are ViewModel objects that can be used in the view.

I don't know if it makes sense if I'm going in a good direction or if using DDD in Silverlight 4 is good practice. I haven't found much information on the internet.

I would be grateful if you could point me to interesting links or give me some advice.

Thanks for your help.

I took a look at the RIA during the Silverlight 3 prototype. I was excited at first but ended up removing it. I also used DDD on the server side. I felt the RIA is very data oriented and CRUD oriented, which in my opinion flies in the face of domain oriented methods and operations. While it seems that you can set up your own methods in your RIA domain services (I hate they called them "domain services" - again in conflict with DDD), I felt like I had a lot of RIA baggage for very little use when I removed my default CRUD / query support.
