.NET Compact Framework equivalent to System.Drawing.Imaging.ColorMap

I need to use the ColorMap object in the .NET Compact Framework, but from what I can tell it is not available.

Some ideas are needed on how best to deal with this limitation.

this is discussed in the msdn forum (I'm not allowed to add links yet, but you can easily find it on the internet) This class is not supported by the .net compact card. Would suggest instead using manual recoloring or using Reflector to get the ColorMap code from the .net structure and use its code.

The native IBitmapImage has a get / setpalette method, but I don't know what you are looking for.
