New RadRails Project in Eclipse with SQL Server

I am trying to log into Rails development and am using Aptana Studio (RadRails) as a plugin for Eclipse (WinXP). When I create a new project with the parameters shown here

NewRailsProject http://www.sqeq.com/image/NewRailsProject.jpg

things go south. I immediately get this error:

alt text http://www.sqeq.com/image/NewRailsProject2.jpg

Mongrel is installed as the default server and it complains about starting up due to a missing log file. Of course, almost the entire skeleton of the project is missing.

Going through the same exercise with other dbms selected in the New Project screen worked very well and I was able to hack everything to switch my project from MySQL to SQL Server by installing the MS jdbc driver and getting the ADO.rb file copied into my Ruby install ala this post .

Is there a trick for getting RadRails to do this without the above workarounds?

I have to say, although this is not a specific answer to your question, that I was not impressed with the radrails when I last looked at it. It was built on an old version of eclipse and was quite painful to use.

You can look around stackoverflow for some other choices: https://stackoverflow.com/search?q=ide+rails .
