How do I create an automated mechanism to find assembly breaks?

In a team where several people are working on the same file or different files of the same solution, it is only natural that there is a break in work. But how do we create an automated mechanism where we can find build breaks?

Take a look at the CI Factory to set up a CruiseControl.NET server. Then install all CCTray and you can be notified of automatic builds and see the current status.

I think you should take a look at continuous integration .

You have to build on an automated and regular basis. Have a look at build automation tools. It depends a little on the technology you are using, Hudson is great for us (continuous integration is also a keyword for searches). You can run a build every night, or even every changeset in your repository. This should give you instant feedback on brocken builds.
