SIFR 3 - Selector

I am using sIFR 3 (beta 436).

I have a simple question, but I cannot figure out the solution. I want to select <a>

-tag directly by this class, not its parent, as it is now:

sIFR.replace(din, {
   selector: '.mainmenu'
   ,css: [
     '.sIFR-root { font-size:13px; text-transform:uppercase; cursor:pointer; text-align:center }'
     ,'a { text-decoration: none; color: #FFFFFF; }'
     ,'a:link { color: #FFFFFF; }'
     ,'a:hover { color: #CCCCCC;}'
   ]
   ,transparent: true
  }
);

".mainmenu"

- class a <span>

containing <a>

. But sometimes he cannot use this method and needs to call <a>

-tag directly. All the examples I found on the internet seem to use the method above.

Can anyone help me write my selector?

You cannot directly replace <a>

, you must replace the parent for cross-browser links. But of course you are using different CSS selectors to get the parent element.
