Object.jquery Attribute

what does this code do?

if(object.jquery){
  ....
}

I don't know what the jQuery attribute does. I think it checks if "object" is a valid jQuery object, but I'm not sure.

Thanks in advance.

It checks if a property has a object

property jquery

, so yes, it checks if a object

specific jquery object :)

It doesn't check if it was loaded (try on this very page), it will if(window.jQuery)

, but jquery objects have a property jquery

that is version like

$().jquery //on this page, as of now (when answered): "1.3.2"
