Flickering taskbar in full screen Windows Mobile 6
Just finish updating your VB.NET application that works fine under CE.NET 4.2. The deployment platform is Windows Mobile 6.1.
The application runs in full screen mode, however whenever a new form is opened, the taskbar, that is, the panel with the launch button, come to the fore and then the new form is taken. This is especially annoying since I have a form that has many subforms that are 128 128 and yet the taskbar blinks and obscures part of the user input screen.
Does anyone come across this? Any known workarounds?

I am assuming your application flow looks something like this:
- Form 1 is open.
- Form 1 is closed.
- Form 2 is open.
The problem is that between closing Form 1 and opening Form 2, the background window may be partially pulled back (for example, the taskbar will draw).
To work around this, we usually create a parent window (in your case, a full screen window) that sits behind the form windows. This way, when it closes and the next one opens, it falls back to displaying the parent window, which can display whatever you like (space?).
