Query does not pull select field value, oracle

I'm using the app builder and setting up checkboxes to populate the request that spills out into the report below, I'm having a single fill problem, but I can't immediately see why:

This is how I link;

AND CINEMA.LOCATION =: pticketstown

this works fine and pulls the selection from the select box that pops up from the request on the table in the cinema, however when I try to do the same for another table try and pull the movie title from the select box the selection - it doesn't seem to work, rport does not say exit.

I'm setting up the select box the same way as pulling it in films, but when, as soon as I reference it in the sql report, the ouptut is empty.

FILM.FILM_title =: pfilm

Any thoughts on why this won't work on something that uses the same method? is this a case where the value is not passed through bieng? I'm a bit puzzled if this is the way I installed it the same way as working.

I am assuming from its sound you are using express app? Have you turned on debugging to see exactly what is being passed? It could be whitespace encoding or something else.

It seems strange that two seemingly similar queries would behave differently. Do you have access to the actual sql issue? If so, I would try to run this against your db directly via command line or sql developer if you have one.
