Linking / Synchronizing SQL DB with MySQL DB

I need to access data in MS SQL database from inside in MySQL and would like to know my options. The data is stored through various concatenated tables.

Ideally I would like to mirror the database schema and data in MySQL so that it can be queried from Wordpress.

Data - information about the hotel as shown here http://www.vrxstudios.com/advanced_search.aspx

The plan is to submit each hotel as a wordpress message.

Would it be wise to create a flat table in SQL and link it somehow in MySQL?

If you want to move data from MS SQL Server to MySQL, you can use SSIS routines to move data. You can schedule data import as often as you need.



The simplest form will be a direct copy of the schema structure from MS SQL Server.
