IPhone SDK Download by Titanium Developer
I tried this question on the Titanium website and a few tweets about them, but they either ignore me or refuse to answer.
I want to start using their framework, but for some reason the iPhone SDK is always "loaded" when under the "TEST and PACKAGE" tab.
Have you guys found a fix for this? I have:
- Snow Leopard 10.6.3
- Titanium Developer 1.2.1
- iPhone SDK 3.2
- All certifications are blah blah from Apple because I can test and deploy apps to my device using Xcode.
Help me please:)

Do you have a name with non-ASCII characters? They have a bug related to developer certificates with non-ASCII characters. I have submitted a bug report to the Appcelerator Lighthouse site:
My name has an umlaut (ö) character that prevents prereq.py from doing what it wants. Titan only says "Loading ..." in the SDK version selection window.
A patch attached to the page that changes the json parser to simplejson helps pass the python script. I run it in the console and I get the expected output:
'{"wwdr": true, "ipad": false, "sdks": ["3.1", "3.1.2", "3.1.3"], "iphone_dev_name": ["Björn Söderqvist (XXXXXXXXXX)"], "iphone_dist_message": "iPhone distribution certificate missing", "wwdr_message": null, "itunes_message": null, "itunes": true, "iphone_dev_message": null, "iphone_dev": true, "iphone_dist": false, "itunes_version" : "9.0.3"} '
The titanium app is still not reading the output correctly.
It works if I copy the content of the console with the corrected prereq.py: (line 877 packaging .js)
var d = '{"wwdr": true, "ipad": false, "sdks": ["3.1", "3.1.2", "3.1.3"], "iphone_dev_name": ["Björn Söderqvist (XXXXXXXXXX) "]," iphone_dist_message ":" Missing iPhone distribution certificate "," wwdr_message ": null," itunes_message ": null," itunes ": true," iphone_dev_message ": null," iphone_dev ": true," iphone_dist ": false, "itunes_version": "9.0.3"} '
Unfortunately, the link I referenced in the post no longer works. The proposed patch was supposed to do the following: prereq.py:
Line 8
#import json, run, tempfile, codecs
import poorjson, run, tempfile, codecs
Line 139 (replace the last line of check_for_package () with this)
print poorjson.PoorJSON().dump(props)
Let me know if you need more specific information.
