Change Eclipse search

I recently installed Ganymede SR2 and wanted to search for something. I pressed CTRL-H which opens search and uses file search. However, I came across that the test-build and exploded-archieves folders were also searched, and I want to disable searching for those folders.

I only wanted to find the source code, not what is generated. Does anyone know how I can do this in Ganymede? I didn't have this problem in Europe.

You can create a working set that only includes the source directories. When using search, you can detach the working set as a scope (at the bottom of the search dialog).

To do this, press Ctrl + H to open the Help window, then in the area area, click the "Select ..." button, a dialog box will open in which you can manage working sets.

I was using Eclipse Kepler.

Limit the search to source files only, that is, only .java files by entering " .java " in the field File name patterns(Separated by commas):

present in the Search for Files tab of the search dialog.

Add more comma separated filename patterns like: *.java, *.xml, *.properties, *.txt

etc.
