What's up with the Trimpath Junction Javascript Framework?

I was desperately looking for a Javascript MVC framework for building rich client applications with a Rails backend and I come across a connection framework.I really like it because of its similarity to rails and standalone capabilities. but unfortunately it hasn't been supported for a long time.

I just wanted to know if the project is alive or should I be looking elsewhere for a viable solution.

I know about sproutecore and cappuccino and I follow them closely and their development process. But I'm really reluctant to learn something like a new language for this. Actually cappuccino uses objectJ, which is literally a new language running inside javascript.

IMHO the killer structure will be similar to Rails in structure (since rails have already proven themselves as the de facto framework for frameworks and have been ported to a lot of other frameworks) and uses jQuery to work with the dom and make ajax calls. I still couldn't find it.

I'm not sure if it is still actively developing.

I have been using Trimpath quite often lately and I haven't missed any features. I'm sure it's still being developed, but it's a great tool and really cuts down on development time.

I searched the internet for a connection and as far as I can tell the project is dead.

I am an Ejscript developer. The project is not dead, just very focused on embedded.
